Post-Graduate Certificate (PGC)
Frontier Nursing University’s Post-Graduate Certificate (PGC) program is designed for students who already have a master’s degree or higher in an advanced practice registered nursing specialty. At FNU, you can add a certification in one of the following specialties:

Why Should You Earn Your PGC at FNU?
In FNU’s PGC program, you can expand your scope of practice by building skills in leadership, clinical scholarship, evidence-based practice and clinical evaluation. The PGC is an excellent way to specialize in an area not obtained in your original graduate studies.

- Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
- Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM)
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Geriatric-Adult Nurse Practitioner (GANP)

- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHCNP)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
Graduates of other types of nursing master’s programs may apply for transfer credit, but are ineligible for the PGC option.
